This is why we're here! These are some games I've worked on - I've been having a blast collaborating with other passionate developers.
I was hired as an Associate Sound Designer on the base game of Diablo IV. I shipped the base game, as well as Seasons 1-4 as an associate. I worked on half a dozen in-engine cutscenes as well as establishing the pipeline for our Cosmetic Town Portals for our Seasonal release.
I was promoted to Sound Designer during development of our first expansion "Vessel of Hatred". I led the charge on the sound effects on the new quest-line. Besides designing cool sound effects, my big goal was to hide the "seams" from gameplay to story with great mixing. I wanted the story to really feel connected to the gameplay and not a separate entity.
Worked on for the course of two weeks. I did sound design, mixing, and collaborated with the rest of the team to come up with the game idea/mechanics! We're currently working on making this a full game with three different environments, and longer levels. Right now, the audio is implemented directly in Unity, but the full version will use ADX2 middleware.
Did music and sound design for this bullet hell game! Check it out :)
Use missiles and position your shields to protect the planet while the Earth's nations deploy powerful weapons to help you face the incoming space crises. A completely chaotic and addictive bullet hell game.
WIP. Dan-bi is an 3D isometric adventure game based on Korean mythology. The player will play as Yeon, a seven year old girl, who will travel with Moogi, a millenary Imoogi (snake like creature), to meet a dragon. By collaborating and using the imoogi’s powers (lightning, creating clouds and using mist to conceal themselves) they will reach the dragon and ask for Rain. I'm doing music, sound design, and implementing it all with Wwise.
This is a long-form WIP, but you can play our little demo right here!
Session Guitar/Audio Engineering
This is a game focused on a guitar-wielding protagonist. My guitar playing is all over the game! I engineered my own recording sessions based on the original music written by the composer. I had a lot of fun mimicking the skill level of the protagonist in my performances.
I directed voice acting sessions, cleaned up and exported them for the "Animalese" dialogue system. Also contributed some UI SFX as well.
Worked on for the course of two weeks as well. I did music, sound design, and came up with the basic concept with the rest of the team. This is an interactive music/card game where the player needs to recreate example rhythms with cards on a step sequencer. It was certainly a challenge mixing audio for WebGL, but the end result is usable. We're going to continue tweaking it in the coming months.
